The Aussie cricket team touched down in Pakistan on Sunday for their first tour of the country in 24 years.
Pakistan have struggled to attract visiting sides since a terrorist attack on the Sri Lanka team bus in 2009.
Captain Pat Cummins said he and the team feel safe and well looked after.
“There’s been lots of security upon arrival. We were straight off the plane and straight to the hotel,” he said.
“We’ve got a pretty good set-up and we’ll be confined to the hotel except for games and training.
“We’ve travelled to places like India where you don’t leave the hotel too much so we are used to it.
“It’s comforting and we’re really lucky to be surrounded by so many professionals.”
And he’s not wrong, it’s understood that 4000 people are part of the team’s detail.
