After facing a significant health battle, beloved Australian music icon John Farnham will once again have ‘The Voice’ heard—this time through the audiobook edition of his memoir The Voice Inside.

Co-written with Poppy Stockell, the audiobook will be narrated by the man himself, offering fans a unique glimpse into his life and career.

Two chapters penned by Farnham’s wife, Jill Farnham, will be narrated by Jill, adding a deeply personal dimension to the project.

Reflecting on the experience, Farnham said: “I’ve just finished narrating my audiobook. It was a bit of a roller-coaster ride. There were more than a few laughs, and some tears, but it made me realise how lucky I’ve been.”

Despite undergoing surgery and radiation therapy, Farnham’s dedication to the project shone through.

Vanessa Radnidge, Head of Literary at Hachette Australia, praised the singer’s commitment: “John is a born entertainer, and he never wants to disappoint his fans. He spent countless hours in the studio recording his memoir in his own voice. Listening to him is such a delight – his heart, emotion, and showmanship all come through. The laughs, giggles, and tears are all there. John feels fortunate to have lived such a life, and we are incredibly lucky to have him share The Voice Inside with all of us.”

The audiobook edition of The Voice Inside, narrated by John and Jill Farnham, will be released on October 30.
