As our movie guy Ben O’Shea said this morning, Grant these days is really ‘leaning into his old-weird-guy-villain era,’ and the new gothic-horror Heretic is the perfect example.
Grant plays Mr Reed, a former theology academic who invites two female Morman missionaries into his home for a conversation about religion. After the polite chat begins to turn uncomfortable, the young women decide it’s time for them to leave… but soon realise they’re trapped inside the house.
