We finally have a trailer for the long-awaited sequel to ‘Joker,’ featuring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
While the first full-length trailer for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ offers visuals over dialogue, it treats viewers to Lady Gaga’s epically grim portrayal of Harley Quinn (which is a world away from previous iterations by Margot Robbie and Kaley Cuoco). British comedian Steve Coogan also makes an appearance as he interrogates Phoenix’s character, Arthur, aka The Joker.
Billed as a ‘musical thriller’, the film sees Phoenix reprise his role from the original 2019 blockbuster, which amassed over $1 billion globally, including $27 million in Australia.
The sequel’s release in Australian cinemas on October 3, coinciding with the five-year anniversary of the original film’s debut.
