MTV Unplugged featured some incredibly memorable stripped-down performances over the years, particularly Nirvana, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam.
Another one to add to the list is A-ha’s ‘Take On Me’, which despite being filmed in 2018, it’s doing the rounds again and for good reason: the acoustic rendition of their smash hit is pure, unplugged magic, with some fans saying it’s even better than than the 1984 original.
One thing’s for sure: A-ha frontman Morten Harket can hold one helluva tune.
