This week marks the return of a beloved piece of television history, as ABC TV reintroduces the iconic theme that signalled the start of its 7pm news bulletin from 1986 to 2005.
After a hiatus of nearly two decades, the instantly-recognisable tune, composed by Peter Wall and the late Tony Ansell in 1986, will once again announce the evening news is about to start.
