Get ready for the musical adventure of a lifetime, as Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival takes centre stage as part of 96FM’s ‘Best Trip of Your Life’!
Founded in 1999, the festival has become legendary for not just hosting performances from the world’s most renowned guitar players, but a ‘Festival Village’ featuring interactive exhibits from the world’s leading guitar and gear manufacturers, including Fender, Gibson and Martin.

One of the drawcards of the festival is the legendary Legends Collection, showcasing priceless guitars used by the likes of Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan – the instruments that made history.
To top it all off, the festival includes two nights of live music from some the world’s most talented guitarists, Sheryl Crow, Santana, Vince Gill, Los Lobos, Stephen Stills, John Mayer, ZZ Top and of course, Eric Clapton.

Clapton personally selects who performs at the festival, previously saying that each performer was one of the very best and had earned his personal respect.
He began the festival to support his Crossroads Centre, which aims to rehabilitate those battling addiction.
