Perth is going to Eurovision!
Synth-metal outfit Voyager is set to perform their song ‘Promise’ to the world.
“They’re described as fierce, riff-laden and genre-bending,” Lisa said on Wednesday morning.

‘We are absolutely ELATED to announce that we will represent Australia and our beautiful state of WA at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023!’ the band said online.
Voyager has been trying to enter the contest for eight years, submitting songs every year since Australia was first announced as a participant in 2015.
This year’s contest will be held in Liverpool, UK, after last year’s winner Ukraine, with the song ‘Stefania’ by Kalush Orchestra, was unable to meet the event’s hosting commitments due to security concerns caused by Russia’s invasion.
