Classic rock will meet classical music this Saturday when Australian rock legends The Angels present their acclaimed Symphony of Angels show at the Perth Concert Hall.
The special show features 20 classic Angels songs like you’ve never heard them – fully arranged for the orchestra.
Clairsy & Lisa spoke to guitarist John Brewster, who told us why this particular show brings his family full circle.
Not only did he and his brother Rick grow up in a classical music family… his grandfather was a concert pianist who composed more than 600 works, including a symphony called ‘Australia Felix’.
“We walk onstage to a little overture that’s part of that symphony.”
