It’s been a big week for Kate Middleton and it’s only Tuesday.
The princess has issued an apology over some ‘experimenting with editing’ after four of the top photo agencies – Associated Press, Reuters, Agence France-Presse, and Getty Images – issued “kill notice” orders over concern that an official photo posted to royal social media channels (and subsequently distributed to photo desks) was manipulated at the source.
Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.
Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C

Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C

Despite clearing up the matter, the internet was already off and running with the LOLs.

Can’t see any image manipulation here at all, not sure what issue the news agencies have with the Kate Middleton photo pic.twitter.com/IL225hSw7t
