Australian Netflix subscribers are in for a pocket pinch as the streaming service rolls out price hikes across its subscription tiers.
Premium plans now stand at $25.99, up from $22.99, while standard plans without ads have increased from $16.99 to $18.99. Their standard plan with ads will see a bump from $6.99 to $7.99.
Despite the updated pricing on Netflix’s website, some users remain unaware of the coming changes.
Netflix plans to inform Australian users about the price adjustments 30 days before they take effect, aligning with each user’s billing cycle.
Last October, Netflix scrapped their basic ad-free plan.
