Filming kicks off for The Block next week where contestants get out of the city in a ‘tree change’ for the series.
This season, the show will take place in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, about an hour out of Melbourne known for its expansive native forests and the iconic Hanging Rock.
Contestants will build several luxury rural escapes from weatherboard homes (which were recently trucked in) on massive 10-acre blocks.
Host Scott Cam looks like he’ll be getting his hands dirty too by renovating an old homestead.
It was reported that filming was due to begin this week but was pushed back by a week due to the pandemic but will air on Nine later this year as scheduled.
