The story trailer for the eagerly-awaited ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ video game has been unveiled giving us a glimpse into the period of time the game will take place.
Set in the turbulent period between ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’ the game centres around Kay Vess, a rising rogue navigating the treacherous galactic underworld.
Accompanying her escapades are Nyx, her trusty alien companion, and ND-5, a BX-commando droid with a penchant for trench coats, originally crafted by the Separatists during the Clone Wars.

Together the trio embark on a journey fraught with danger as they engage in daring heists, schemes, and battles against the galaxy’s notorious crime syndicates… all for the chance at a fresh start.
Unlike many other games, every planet and location in ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring a rich and immersive gaming experience. From iconic locales familiar to fans to new destinations like the enigmatic world of Toshara, the game promises a diverse universe.

Adding to the excitement is the confirmation that Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra from ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ will make an appearance, as well as an unusual cameo from Han Solo himself trapped in carbonite.
Preorders are available now ready for the game to drop on August 30th and will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Players can gain early access, up to three days in advance, by purchasing the Gold or Ultimate edition, which includes the base game and season pass.
