A farmer on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula has rescued a baby seal that was lost in his wheat crop, about three kilometres from the ocean!
Ty Kaden said he thought his neighbour was pulling his leg when he called to tell him there was a seal in his paddock.

“It was fairly skinny, so it’s probably been lost for a while,” he told ABC Adelaide.
“We threw a towel over it and put it in a box in the back of the ute.
“We let it go on the beach, luckily it was high tide, so it shuffled off into the water. It looked pretty hungry so hopefully it found some fish to survive.”
