A truly beautiful interpretation of a Coles hot chook has taken out first place in the City of Joondalup Invitational Art Award over the weekend.
West Aussie artist and designer Emma Buswell took inspiration from the classic CBF meal, often referred to as a ‘bachelor’s handbag’, which adds another somewhat cerebral layer to the piece, titled ‘The sometimes luxury handbag and other suburban fables.’

Ms Buswell is the same talent behind the democracy sausage knit and the ‘there’s nothing unlawful about going for a run and having a kebab’ jumper.
