About 30 players from last month’s winning $120 million Powerball syndicate are yet to claim their prize.
On February 24, two tickets bagged Division One, taking home $63,309,057 each.
One ticket was bought in NSW and the other, a syndicate of 250 players from Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Lotterywest is urging for the remainder of the ticket holders from the syndicate, bought from City News Kalgoorlie, to come forward to claim their $261,986 share.
Clairsy & Lisa had some thoughts about it too…
Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said Lotterywest HQ had been “buzzing with excited winners” over the past few weeks, but there were still some ticket holders who had not claimed their prize.
“If you are one of the unclaimed ticket holders, please give us a call to discuss arrangements to verify your ticket so we can make your payment,” Ms Williams said.
“This is a fantastic win for regional WA and we will do all we can to deliver this prize money to its rightful owners.
“Lotterywest respects the privacy of all players and we also understand that it’s not easy for everyone to get to Lotterywest HQ.
“If you can’t get to Perth, or if you’re concerned for your privacy, please contact us.”
WA players have a year from the date of the draw to claim their Division One prize.
