The Baysie Bridge is clearly not going down without a fight.
On Tuesday, u/pasalaska alerted Reddit that the notorious 3.8-metre bridge had woken and claimed its sixth victim for 2022.
This time it appears to be a cherry picker – or an elevated work platform – which seemed to be in the process of being moved on the back of a truck when it ran the gauntlet of the bridge’s clutches, and lost.
According to our mates at howmanydayssincebayswaterbridgehasbeenhit.com, the last incident was listed as just over a month ago on August 12.
Clearly the local legend has a rabid appetite despite the upgrades for the Bayswater train station that continue around her.
