Cricket great Justin Langer wants to make something very clear: politics isn’t for him.
In June, speculation popped up that the former Australian national team coach the top pick of influential Liberals to ultimately lead the party, with the Sunday Times reporting an insider had said there had been “several approaches” to Langer.
“I’ve heard all sorts of things I’m doing,” the 51-year-old told Clairsy & Lisa on Friday.
“You heard it here first, I will not be entering politics… but thanks for asking.”
