This weekend’s clash between Fremantle and West Coast has been moved from Fremantle Oval back over to Optus Stadium.
Not because of the ground itself, but the facilities around it.
Ryan Daniels reminded Clairsy & Lisa on Friday that these were the same changerooms that footy legends Maurice Rioli and Stephen Michael used back in the day.
“They have the little stairs there, yeah, there’s not much to them,” he said.
“They’re the old classic WAFL changerooms.”
And that’s the problem.
The changerooms are far too small for either club to observe the 2-metre rule for social distancing.
But it’s not just the changerooms either…
