Hunters & Collectors frontman Mark Seymour is set to repeat history, stepping out onto the ‘G once again to perform the code’s unofficial anthem: Holy Grail.
Appearing at the 1998, 2002 and 2009 Grand Finals, Seymour will perform this year with his band, The Undertow.
“I’m very excited to be back at the MCG to perform on this great day in our national sporting calendar,’’ he said.
Seymour joins headline act KISS, who were a late addition to the line-up after Aussie band Crowded House sensationally pulled out with only 57 days to boucedown.
Aussie pop sensation Kate Miller Heidke will also take centre stage for the national anthem.
