Western Force vice-captain Kyle Godwin says Tuesday’s rescheduling of their clash with Moana Pasifika actually worked in the Force’s favour, thumping them 48-28 in Auckland.
Godwin ended up snagging the bonus point the team needed. Without it, the Force would’ve needed a bonus-point win against the Hurricanes this weekend, which would’ve been a far tougher ask.
It’s gonna be a tough match anyway. Lose and they’re out.
It’s also not the only game, but it could be Godwin’s last home game for the Force before he dips for his new club in Lyon, France.
This week, Godwin and the boys have three games in eight days, including one in New Zealand, still ahead.
“Do you guys have a bit of a chuckle when the AFL footballers have a whinge about just flying to Melbourne?” Lisa asked.
